The Field Sales Engineer (Technical Sales) will develop business relationships with key OEMs/Tier1 automotive suppliers in central-western part of Germany. A solid technical expertise of automotive applications will enable you to promote innovative technical solutions to the customer base. Responsible for commercial relationships and first line technical support, you work in an independent and autonomous fashion. For specialist technical support, you will involve the European network of Field Application Engineers and you will work closely with the Power and Analog Solution Engineering Center in Munich.

Main Tasks

  • Present our clients solutions to OEM customers//Tier1 automotive suppliers
  • Recommend the best topologies and products based on technical and commercial aspects
  • Assist customers with evaluation and design-in of our clients products
  • Provide quotations and business proposals
  • Develop long term business relationships with strategic OEMs//Tier1 automotive suppliers


  • BS or MS in electrical engineering, focusing on analog, mixed-signal and/or power electronics
  • 3-5 years of experience in Semiconductor Sales for Automotive, knowledge of distribution networkpreferred
  • Independent worker and a team player, showing a high degree of initiative and drive
  • Active listener, you have strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation
  • Results oriented
  • Willingness to travel is a natural requirement
  • fluent in German and English is a must
