At our location in Darmstadt we are looking for:

Master Thesis (m/w): 'Modeling of Complexity Costs with a Low Volume High Mix Environment'


Overview:

Compare "platform based"- with dedicated (customer specific) developments in perspective of:

a) Complexity cost drivers along the value chain (supplier to distribution)

b) Impact of the part number strategy (e.g. open variant) and associated maintenance costs within the IT landscape) Implement findings into existing simulation tool sets, used within the justification of new product developments


Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Master Student within "Wirtschaftsingeneurwesen" (TH/TU/Hochschule)
  • Technical background within electro-mechanical products or similar
  • Social Skill Sets (Self Starter; Analytical Skill Sets; Ability to work in Teams/ Matrix)
