ROHM in Europe has been established 40 years ago in Willich (close to Düsseldorf). We serve the European market with our sales forces located in 9 offices and the European Design Center.

For our European Design Center located in Willich we are looking for a: 

    Project Manager/IC Design Engineer (m/f)

    The position will be within our product development team where you will be the project manager for a number of mixed-signal/power IC development projects. You will be responsible - within agreed boundaries - for the full IC design cycle from specification through circuit design to validation, testing and release. Manage all requested changes and deploy the change management process. The European teams operate in close cooperation with the Japanese development centres in Kyoto and Yokohama, and interaction with all parties is essential and reaching relevant agreements within the charter of the project. The team in Europe develops analog /mixed-signal products dedicated to applications in the industrial and automotive domains.

    For the position the following experience is sought:

      • Project management 
      • Circuit design of analog and digital circuits in the context of LSI design
      • Circuit and sub-circuit specification, design and simulation
      • IP definition
      • Exposure to CAD design tools (Cadence, Verilog, Spectre, Virtuoso, Debussy, etc.)
      • Reference and evaluation application design
      • ESD, Latch-up and EMC compliancy
      • Validation and characterization methodology
      • Effective communication skills 

      For this role the person is required to have a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with adequate years’ experience in a relevant field and have good verbal and written communication skills in English.
